Thoughts about my website

When I started my websites, including the link below, I said, to myself, make them totally different than any other on-line stores. First don’t just throw a bunch of products on it, and hope someone will buy them. So, let’s, see? Gee whiz why not put many Posts on it that gives consumers some informative information about these products in advance? For example, what’s the difference between an Apple Mac Book and a Windows Computer? How about what’s the difference between an iPhone VS a Android phone? So, on every product page there’s a short informative introduction related to that product category. Yes, I did put some of my warped sense of humor into it. So maybe you will get a smile on your face. I hope my humor doesn’t offend anyone, because if you can’t put a smile on your face or laugh then I feel sorry for you.

Mr. Spock what are your thoughts on this? Quite interesting but not logical.

Health and Fitness Supplies is also one of my Website

Why do you need a security system?

In today’s age of rising crime of home intrusions and Business vandalism, it has become a top priority. With Home break-ins home intrusions and Business thefts. So, a Security has become a MUST to protect your Family, your House and your Business from intrusions and vandalism.

With the demand to Defund the Police and Attorney Generals not prosecuting criminals’ crime has gone through the roof.

How to Pick the Right Features

Key features of a home and business security camera are motion-activated recording, smartphone alerts, good-quality resolution, and night vision. These will help keep your property secure. Other features that can be helpful include two-way audio, built-in sirens and floodlight, and a wide field of view to capture more area with fewer cameras. Advanced software features to consider include cameras that can differentiate between people and animals, and those that monitor specific activity zones to help filter out false alerts. Also, think about whether you need a camera that will record continuously or just when something happens. Recording continuously will ensure that you don’t miss anything, but it requires a lot of Wi-Fi bandwidth and video storage.

Smart Locks

The deadbolt on your front door right now likely serves its purpose. It locks, it unlocks and keeps out any unwanted guests. And that’s enough. However, if you’re tired of leaving keys under your mat (like everyone else), or you don’t want multiple keys floating around, a smart lock might be the answer.

Smart locks won’t necessarily make your home any safer, but they allow for more control. You can lock and unlock your door from anywhere and extend digital “keys” to friends, family, caregivers or anyone else who regularly visits your home.

Sure, you can still use a regular ol’ key to open a smart-lock-equipped door (or most of them, anyhow), but don’t be too quick to discount the convenience of connectivity especially when your hands are full of grocery bags, squirming tiny humans or anything else that makes it tough to rummage around for your keys. And when you crawl into bed, only to second guess whether you locked the door or not, you won’t need to throw on a bathrobe and stumble to the front door. You can just pick up your phone and check the lock status.

That said, not all smart locks are the same. There are keyless options, Bluetooth options, locks that use your fingerprint, locks that fit on your existing deadbolt and complete deadbolt replacement locks. It can be tricky to navigate if you’re new to smart home tech. Here’s a look at today’s smart lock options, what you need to know before buying one, and how to choose the right lock for your home.

Desktop Computers

Who has the best Desktop Security Apple or Windows PC’s?

Mac – Traditionally, Macs have had fewer security vulnerabilities. Also, in overall numbers, Macs receive fewer viruses than PCs running Windows. However, these numbers can be misleading as Apple’s computers only account for less than 10% of the market share. Consequently, PCs show that they have more vulnerabilities, but if one were looking to infect or illegally access most computers, PCs are the best target.

PC – More people today are using computers running some version of Microsoft Windows, which makes it a smarter target for attackers. That being said, Windows computers have had more security vulnerabilities than Apple computers in the past.

Bottom line: Mac wins in this category. While newer versions of Windows have made significant improvements in security, most malware is created for PCs. Therefore, you’re less likely to run into security issues with a Mac.

Choosing a Printer

For Home

With features for everyone in the family, an all-in-one wireless inkjet printer is a convenient way to access multiple devices in one space-saving unit. A 3-in-1 allows you to print school papers, copy recipes from cookbooks, and scan documents; while a 4-in-1 also lets you fax. Consider a time-saving supertank printer if you want to print more pages with fewer cartridge changes.

For a Small Business or Home Office

Enjoy fast and reliable printing for your home office or small business needs with a laser printer. Designed to handle high-volume jobs at a low cost per page, there are a variety of features available to suit your needs. Black-only printers can be a more affordable option if you only print text documents, duplex printers can automatically print on both sides of paper, while all-in-one printers can also copy, scan and fax. If an inkjet printer suits your needs, you can save time with a super tank printer that allows you to print more pages with fewer cartridge changes.

For the Photographer

Inkjet printers are perfect for photos since they can print clear, vibrant images on glossy paper. For convenient, on-the-go printing, consider a portable photo printer.

For the Student

For printing term papers or your thesis, an inkjet printer is equipped to crank out pages of crisp text and detailed images. An all-in-one option will also allow you to scan, copy, and/or fax, while mobile printing capability allows you to conveniently print from your smartphone or tablet.

iPads and Tablets

Are you an Android user or an Apple user?

While there’s certainly no rule against owning devices from different manufacturers, there are definitely advantages to buying a tablet that’s built on the same platform as your phone. The biggest benefit is familiarity. If you’re already familiar with Android or iOS operating systems, you’ll feel right at home the first time you power up your tablet if you buy one with the same OS. In addition, some tablets and phones from the same brand offer extended functionality when used together. For example, if you’re an iPhone owner, you can set up an iPad so you can answer phone calls from it.

Cell Phones AKA Smartphones

If you have invested in Apple’s ecosystem. This might seem like a shallow reason, but Apple obviously makes a wide breadth of tech products, and if you already own a Mac, iPad or Apple Watch, getting an iPhone makes a lot of sense

Apple has designed a multitude of continuity features that allow you to carry over work and data from one of its devices to another, and these features can certainly save you time. Take Handoff, for example, where calls on your iPhone and web pages in Safari can move seamlessly between iOS and macOS. Universal Clipboard makes text copied on one platform usable on the other. Another one of our favorites is Continuity Camera, which allows you to take pictures and scan documents using your iPhone’s camera, and then view and edit them on your Mac. You can even complete purchases on your Mac by using biometric authentication features on your iPhone via Apple Pay.

Why Android? There are phones at every price. The vast majority of the world’s smartphones run Android, and because so many companies build Android handsets, they’re available at every price range. There are cheap phones under the three-digit mark like the new Pixel 4a, as well as some of the best small phones and best big phones, and phablets and foldables far exceeding $1,000. No matter how much you can spend, chances are you can find an Android device that fits your budget or offers exclusive features.

Smart TVs

Smart TVs, also called internet TVs or connected TVs, can be your bridge to a world of online content that you can access directly from the TV itself. Most smart TVs these days let you access multiple streaming video services, such as Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, Sling TV, and YouTube TV, plus one or more internet music services, such as Pandora and Spotify. Many smart TVs also let you check social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, and several support casual games as well.

More smart TVs are now voice-enabled, using either their own proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) technologies or working with established third-party digital assistants, such as Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant. (Some sets may have all three.) Some TVs from the major brands will also connect to, and interact with, other smart home devices, allowing you to play music on smart speakers, raise or lower the temperature on smart thermostats, or adjust the room’s lighting on smart lightbulbs, all from the TV.

Like streaming media players, smart TVs need to be connected to your home network. We recommend using a wired Ethernet connection, if possible, but all smart TVs now also have built-in WiFi for accessing your network wirelessly.

Home Theater

Maybe you’ve gone out and splurged on a high-end TV only to realize its internal speakers are dinky. Or maybe you’re more interested in building the (wo)man cave of your dreams. Regardless of your motivations, it’s not uncommon to dread the act of researching, buying, and installing a home theater system on your own. Truth is, though, it doesn’t need to be such a daunting task. With a little help on the research side (that’s us), you can get yourself an easy-to-install system with modern features (like Bluetooth) for a reasonable price. Below, we’ve chosen a few systems that are well-priced, produce high-quality audio, and are user-friendly enough for the everyday Joe or Joanne to install without breaking a sweat.

Streaming Media Players AKA DVD Players

Streaming media players are a popular add-on for TVs, bringing streaming movies, TV, music, and games to TVs that lack internet access. Even if you own a smart TV, you may consider a streaming player if it has features or services your TV doesn’t, or it just performs better.

There are more than a dozen streaming player models, offered in two styles: set-top boxes, and stick players about the size of a USB flash drive. The most basic one supports 1080p video, and many models can play 4K content with HDR from the streaming services that offer it.

And be aware that streaming video requires robust broadband and Wi-Fi connections to prevent the video from freezing or buffering. If you move more of your entertainment to the internet, you may need to upgrade to a faster connection.

Cameras, Camcorders and Lenes

Camera shopping is tough. There are lots of different kinds to choose from, and the prices range from around 100 bucks into the thousands.

If you’re just getting started, the first decision is whether to choose a basic camera or an advanced one. Here’s the difference: If you plan to just point the camera and shoot, you need (you guessed it) some sort of point-and-shoot. If you sometimes want to fiddle with exposure settings or even swap out lenses, you should look at advanced cameras.

This beginner’s DSLR with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 III Lens intuitively creates stand-out photos and Full HD movies full of colour and detail – offering partial and full manual photographic control. The 18 Megapixel APS-C sensor allows you to shoot in low light, expressing your creativity with interchangeable lenses. Point and shoot with Scene Intelligent Auto and share your stories using Wi-Fi¹ with the and Camera Connect app.
